Delete your Maila data
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data held about you by Maila – AI Email Cleaner, the Android app published by Nohaya. You don't need to reinstall the app or create an account to do this.
1. Request deletion of your server data
Maila's server stores only your account email address, your Premium subscription status and renewal date, and payment references (no email content). To delete it, email us from the Gmail or Outlook address you use in Maila:
Email nohayasite@gmail.com to delete my data
- Subject: Delete my Maila data. No other details are needed.
- We confirm by reply and delete your data within 30 days.
- We keep only the payment records that tax and accounting law requires us to retain (amount, date and transaction reference). They are deleted when that retention period ends.
2. Cancel an active subscription first
Deleting your data does not stop billing on its own. Cancel Premium first: in Maila go to More → Premium → Cancel Subscription (Razorpay), or in the Play Store go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Maila (Google Play). See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
3. Data on your phone
- Disconnect an account in Maila (Settings → Connected Accounts) to delete its sign-in tokens from your phone.
- Uninstall Maila to delete everything else stored on your phone: settings, cleanup history, rules and smart folders.
- Revoke mailbox access at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or account.live.com/consent/Manage (Microsoft).
4. Your emails
Maila never copies your emails to our servers, so there is no email content for us to delete. Emails you trashed with Maila stay in your mailbox's Trash (Gmail empties it after 30 days).
More details are in the Maila Privacy Policy.
