Maila Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This policy covers Maila Premium, the subscription in the Maila – AI Email Cleaner Android app published by Nohaya. It explains how to cancel and when you can get your money back. See also the Maila Privacy Policy.
1. What You Pay For
- India: ₹49 per month, billed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). Prices include applicable taxes.
- Other countries: US$2.99 per month (or the local price shown in Google Play), billed by Google Play.
- Premium includes unlimited cleanup and no ads, plus AI features when they launch. It is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel.
- The free version (100 cleanups a day, plus extra ones from optional rewarded ads) never charges you. Watching an ad is not a purchase.
2. How to Cancel
- Razorpay (India): open Maila → More → Premium → Cancel Subscription, or email us. The cancellation takes effect immediately, so no further payments are taken.
- Google Play:open the Play Store → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Maila → Cancel subscription. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
- After cancelling, you keep Premium until the end of the month you already paid for. After that the app returns to the free version, and your mailbox and settings are not affected.
3. When We Refund
We refund the charge in full in these cases:
- Premium did not unlock:you paid but Premium never activated on your account and we can't fix it within 2 business days of your report.
- Duplicate or wrong charge: you were charged twice for the same month, charged after cancelling, or charged a wrong amount.
- Failed payment that still took money:the payment failed but money left your account. Banks usually reverse these automatically within 5–7 business days. If yours hasn't, contact us.
- First subscription, changed your mind: you email us within 48 hours of your first ever Maila Premium payment.
4. When We Don't Refund
- Partial months: cancelling mid-month stops future renewals but does not refund the rest of the current month.
- Renewals you forgot to cancel, once 48 hours have passed since that renewal charge.
- Accounts suspended for abuse of the service or of Gmail/Outlook terms.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email nohayasite@gmail.com with:
- The Gmail or Outlook address Premium is linked to (shown in Maila → Premium).
- How you paid (Razorpay or Google Play) and the payment or order ID from your receipt email.
- A short description of the problem.
Google Play purchases: you can also request a refund directly from Google at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. Google handles those requests under its own policy, usually within 48 hours of purchase.
6. Refund Timelines
- We reply to refund requests within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method: Razorpay refunds usually appear in 5–7 business days (UPI is often faster), and Google Play refunds within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.
- A refunded subscription is cancelled, and Premium access for the refunded period is removed.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date above when we do. Changes never apply to a payment made before the change.
