Locavia Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Locavia: Map Anim & Places(the “App”), published by Nohaya (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them. How we handle your data is explained in the Locavia Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Locavia helps you discover and share lesser-known places, track trips, create travel memories, plan group trips, complete missions and earn XP and badges. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
• Give accurate information, keep your password private, and don't share or sell your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Accounts created to farm XP may be removed.

3. Places and Content You Share

• You keep ownership of the places, photos, videos, voice notes and text you share. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, review, edit for format, display and distribute that content in the App and on nohaya.com, and to use it to create trip plans and travel guides. This licence continues for places that remain published after you delete your account, as described on the deletion page.
• Only share content you created or have the right to share, and places that are real and accurately described.
• Don't share private homes or property without permission, places that are dangerous or illegal to visit, or photos or recordings of people who haven't agreed to it.
• We review places before publishing them and may reject, edit or remove any content at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is false, misleading, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or illegal.
• Spam, post advertising, or manipulate upvotes, ratings, leaderboards or missions.
• Impersonate anyone, or collect other users' data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the App or its servers.

5. XP, Missions and Badges

• XP, levels, badges and streaks are for fun and recognition only. They are not money, have no cash value, and can't be exchanged, transferred or sold.
• XP is awarded for approved contributions and completed missions. We may change how XP, levels and missions work at any time.
• We may remove XP or badges obtained through fraud, duplicate accounts or breaking these Terms.

6. Local Guides and Trip Plans

Guides listed in the App are independent people, not our employees. Trip plans and guides' advice are suggestions only. You are responsible for your own arrangements with a guide and for your own safety.

7. Travel Safety

Place details, directions, weather, opening times, entry fees and difficulty ratings come from the community and third parties and may be wrong or out of date. Always check local conditions, follow local laws and signage, respect private property and nature, and don't use the App while driving. You visit any place at your own risk.

8. Ads

The App is free. We may show ads in the App in future to keep it free, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that content in it is accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss or damage arising from visiting a place, using a guide, or relying on content in the App. The App is free, and our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to ₹1,000.

11. Termination

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Sections 3, 5, 9, 10 and 12 continue to apply after termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

When we update these Terms we change the “Last updated” date above, and tell you in the App about significant changes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
