Delete your Locavia account and data

This page explains how to delete your account and data from Locavia: Map Anim & Places, the Android travel discovery app published by Nohaya. You don't need to have the app installed to request this.

1. Delete in the app (instant)

• Open Locavia → Profile tab → scroll down → Delete Account.
• Type DELETE and tap Delete.
• Your account and data are deleted from our servers immediately, and you are signed out on that phone.

2. Or request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app, email us from the email address you use for Locavia, so we can confirm the account is yours. If you can't send from that address, include your username and we will ask you to verify ownership before deleting anything.

• Subject: Delete my Locavia account. Include your account email and username.
• We confirm by reply and delete your account within 30 days (usually much sooner).

3. What is deleted

• Your account: email address, password, username, display name, bio, home city and profile photo.
• Your XP, level, streaks, badges, mission progress, and your follower and following lists.
• Your XP history and any reward records linked to your account.
• All voice notes you recorded, including the audio files.
• Places you submitted that are still under review or were rejected, with their photos, videos and voice notes.
• Your notifications, trip plan requests, guide requests and guide bookings.
• Your name is removed from the upvotes and ratings you gave other places.

4. What is kept

• Published places. Places you shared that were already approved stay on the map and on nohaya.com so other travellers can still find them, but they are no longer linked to you or show your name. Their description and photos stay; your voice recording is removed. If you also want a published place, photo or video removed, email us with a link to it and we will remove it within 30 days.
• Vote totals. The number of upvotes and the average rating of other places are kept as anonymous totals.
• Server logs. Server logs are deleted automatically within 30 days.

Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

5. Data on your phone

Deleting your account in the app also clears what Locavia keeps on that phone: trips, travel memories, drafts, saved places, checklists and group trips. If you request deletion by email, or have Locavia on other phones, uninstall the app or clear its data (Android Settings → Apps → Locavia → Storage → Clear data) to remove it from those phones too. Logging out alone does not delete your account.
