Recording a clean voiceover used to mean a quiet room, a decent microphone, and a few takes to get the pacing right. AI text-to-speech has closed most of that gap — and Nohaya's TTS Studio is built specifically for creators who need a voiceover now, not after a studio session.
What TTS Studio actually does
You paste or type a script, pick a voice from a catalog of 36 options (spanning multiple accents, genders, and styles), choose a tone preset, adjust the speaking speed, and generate a downloadable WAV file in seconds. No installs, no account required for your first try.
The voice catalog spans three tiers:
- Free voices — solid, natural-sounding narrator and podcast-style voices, good enough for most YouTube videos, explainer content, and social clips.
- Premium voices — more expressive, better suited to storytelling and character work.
- Pro voices — full Chatterbox-engine voices with real emotional range (exaggeration and tone control), competitive with paid voice services.
Getting a good result on the first try
A voiceover only sounds as good as the script you feed it. A few things make a noticeable difference:
- Punctuate for pacing, not grammar rules. Commas and periods control where the voice pauses. If a sentence feels rushed when generated, break it into two shorter ones.
- Match the tone preset to the content. A "storytelling" tone on a tutorial script will sound oddly dramatic; a "neutral" tone on a hype-style hook will sound flat. Try the same script across two or three tones before settling.
- Adjust speed last. Get the voice and tone right first — speed is a fine-tuning step, not a fix for a script that's already wrong for the voice.
- Preview before you commit. Every voice in the picker has its own sample clip you can play before generating, so you're not guessing from a name alone.
When to upgrade
The free tier is genuinely usable for one-off projects. If you're producing voiceovers regularly — multiple videos a week, a recurring podcast intro, or client work — Nohaya Pro unlocks unlimited generations across every voice tier, including the full-length Pro voices (free accounts get a short preview of Pro voices, not the full clip).
TTS Studio is one piece of a larger toolkit — pair it with Script Writer to draft the script first, or Caption Generator to add subtitles to the finished video.
