A famous Catholic pilgrimage shrine located near Sokkankudieruppu in Thoothukudi district, surrounded by striking red sand dunes (Theri). According to local tradition, an ancient church was buried beneath the sand and later rediscovered, giving rise to the name "Athisaya" (Miraculous) Manal Matha. Today, devotees from different faiths visit seeking blessings and peace.

November to February for comfortable weather. September Feast Festival for the grand annual celebrations. Early morning or evening to avoid the hot sand and strong sun. First Saturday of the month when special devotions attract many pilgrims.
