Oothumalai Murugan Temple is an ancient hill shrine dedicated to Lord Murugan in his Bala Subramaniyar form. Believed to be over a thousand years old, the temple is closely associated with Sage Agastya and is revered as a spiritual center where several Siddhars are believed to have meditated. The hill also features caves, sacred sculptures, and panoramic views of Salem city.
